Failure? Ask Yourself
- When something doesn’t work in my life, where do I place the blame? How much of that comes from the intensity and mental laziness?
- What am I WILLING TO DO and what am I WILLING TO STOP DOING to make it work?
It’s common knowledge that buying a gym membership won’t improve your health or help you lose weight. But if you ACTUALLY GO TO THE GYM regularly and work out with all your heart and soul, full intention and motivation every time you go, results are going to be great. Eventually, you’ll start seeing less results, so what will you do? Who or what will you blame – the gym, yourself? Will you quit going? Give up? This is your cue to start changing things around so you continue to get the results you want – additional reps, different exercises, etc.
You can and should apply this rationale to your daily life as well!
When something in your life fails to give you the results you expect, you could give up and quit but what if it’s too important to give up? What if something is not working with your job, relationship or health? Do you blame your boss, partner, doctor, yourself? Is it possible that your intention has diminished?
