Stress – It’s all around us – it’s how we react to it that’s important.
We can’t ignore stress, so we need to learn ways of dealing with it and turn it to our advantage. How do we do that? Let’s face it, we’ve all learned to handle at least some of the demands we face. If we didn’t have those rudimentary skills, we would be dead! However, some coping mechanisms work while others (such as abusing alcohol and emotional repression) do not.
There are numerous, practical tools for stress management that lead you to be:
- more emotionally stable.
- sharper and more productive mentally.
- in better physical shape.
… because the way we respond to stress profoundly effects aspects of our experience.
